**Note on classification:** HBAR is the native utility token of Hedera Hashgraph, a public distributed-ledger network. It is not a listed company, equity, ETF, or security. The "-USD" in HBAR-USD simply denotes the USD quoting currency. Below I focus on the coin, its network, and its ecosystem.

## Current Market Snapshot
At the research date, HBAR trades around **$0.079**, with a 24h change near +5.6%, a market capitalization of roughly **$3.3–3.5 billion**, and a circulating supply of ~43.8 billion out of a fixed 50 billion max supply [[11]](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hedera/), [[12]](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hedera).
