## Identification: which "TREE" are we talking about?

Before analyzing, a critical caveat. Two distinct tokens share the ticker **TREE**, and mixing them up is the single biggest error in this space:

- **Treehouse (TREE)** — the decentralized fixed-income/benchmark-rate protocol. CoinGecko lists it at **$0.04857** with a market cap near **$7.58M** [[3]](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/treehouse). This matches our own point-in-time snapshot ($0.04854, rank ~#1102) almost exactly, so this is the asset in question.
- **Tree / Tree News (TREE)** — the utility token for the "Bloomberg of Crypto" aggregator built by Tree of Alpha. This is a *different* digital asset, despite the identical ticker.
