What ARB-USD is (brief)

ARB-USD is Arbitrum's native token, priced against the US dollar (the "-USD" suffix is the quote currency of the pair, not part of the coin's name) [21][25]. Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer-2 scaling network using optimistic rollups, developed by Offchain Labs (co-founded by Ed Felten, Steven Goldfeder, and Harry Kalodner) [21][25].
