Context: What KCS-USD Is

KCS (KuCoin Token), originally launched as "KuCoin Shares" in 2017, is the native utility token of the KuCoin centralized exchange. It began as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and now also runs natively on the KuCoin Community Chain (KCC), where it serves as the gas/validator-staking token. Its documented utilities include trading-fee discounts, a share of trading-fee revenue (KCS Bonus), KuCoin Earn staking, Spotlight launchpad allocations, KCC gas, and (via GemVote/GoDAO) community voting [3], [6], [16]. It is not a security, and there are no company filings or earnings for KCS itself [2].
