Before the catalysts, a structural clarification matters most. Two distinct projects both trade under the OMNI ticker, and aggregators routinely conflate them:

1. Legacy "Omni" (bitcoin-based): described as "a platform for creating and trading custom digital assets and currencies... a software layer built on top of... Bitcoin" (omnilayer.org), with an all-time high of $228.93 in Dec 2013 [DOC-1], [DOC-2].
2. "Omni Network" (ethereum-based): an interoperability/rollup-union protocol whose token was redenominated into NOM at a 1:75 ratio after a rebrand to Nomina [1], [2], [4], [5].
