The QI ticker is ambiguous, and this matters for interpreting the sources. Two distinct projects use it:

• Benqi — a DeFi lending/borrowing protocol on Avalanche, whose token is QI. [1]
• Quai Network — a newer proof-of-work blockchain, also using a QI token. [2]

The background snapshot you provided (market-cap rank #995, price $0.001299, sub-cent) is most consistent with a small-cap, nascent token, which points toward Quai Network's QI rather than Benqi's (Benqi's QI has historically carried a materially larger market capitalization). However, I am treating the rank/price as a given point-in-time datum rather than something I have independently confirmed, and I flag below that data aggregators frequently conflate these two projects. I will attribute claims to their source accordingly.
