What QNT is

Quant (QNT) is a blockchain-interoperability project, and QNT is its native utility token. Its core product is Overledger, an enterprise middleware/API layer that connects public and private blockchains, permissioned DLTs, traditional financial infrastructure, payment systems, and legacy applications under one interface, rather than operating as a conventional standalone Layer 1 [15]. The token is used to access Overledger services, pay for API calls, and deploy multi-chain applications [16], [20]. The project launched in June 2018, led by founder/CEO Gilbert Verdian [16].
