Context: What STG is

STG is the native token of Stargate Finance, a cross-chain liquidity transport protocol. Following LayerZero Foundation's $110 million acquisition of Stargate (approved by the Stargate DAO in August 2025), STG was retired as a standalone governance token and made convertible into LayerZero's ZRO token at a fixed rate of 1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO [4], [5], [16]. Importantly, the Stargate protocol itself continues to operate as a LayerZero product — only the token economy is being consolidated into ZRO [4], [5]. The fixed 0.08634 ratio derives from the 2025 acquisition terms and does not adjust to current market prices [5], [8].
